Mr. Mahjoub El Haiba
Mr. Mahjoub El Haiba was the Inter-Ministerial Delegate of Human Rights and former member of the Committee on Human Rights. Mr. El Haiba was the Secretary-General of the Advisory Human Rights Council (CCDH) from 2005 to 2011. He was also a member of the Equity and Reconciliation Commission and a member of the CCDH. Mr. El Haiba, holder of a Ph.D. (doctorat d’Etat) in political sciences, was the Assistant Dean of the Casablanca Faculty of Law from 1997 to 2000. He is a national and international consultant in environmental law, human rights, and information and communication international law. He is also a founding member of the Moroccan Organization for Human Rights (OMDH). Mr. El Haiba, who is a member and vice president of the Centre for Studies and Research in Migrations and Human Rights (CERMEDH), is a founding member of the Réseau marocain du droit humanitaire international (Moroccan network for international humanitarian law) and member of the Association Marocaine des sciences de la Mer (Moroccan association for marine sciences).
Mr. Addi Sbai
Mr. Addi Sbai is a political and human rights activist. He currently holds the position of Director at the House of Councillors. Formerly, he was the Vice-President of the Draa-Tafilalet Region Council. He also served as the editor of the Al Maaraka newspaper. He holds a bachelor’s degree in literature and humanities and a diploma in in-depth studies.

Mr. Taoufik Berdiji
Mr. Taoufik Berdiji, Chairperson of the CNDH’s Regional Commission of Laayoune- Sakia El Hamra, was born in Tantan, Morocco in 1970. He holds a DESA en droit public (diploma of Higher Studies in public law). He also holds a PhD in political science in 2010 on “L’élite de la ville de Laâyoune” (The local elite of the city of Laayoune). He is a member of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS) and works as an administrator in the municipality of El Marsa. He is the Vice President of the Ligue des droits humains à Laâyoune and a Secretary-General of the Réseau associatif forum Sakia Al-Hamra-Oued Eddahab pour le développement et la démocratie (associative network Sakia Al-Hamra Oued Eddahab Forum for Development and Democracy). Mr. Berdiji is the founding President of several associations including the Association Alibdaâ Assaharaoui and the Association Tan-Tan pour le développement intégré, etc.
