The National Human Rights Council (CNDH), in partnership with the "Junior Chamber International" (JCI RABAT) held the sixth workshop series "Let's talk about human rights," on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
This workshop, facilitated by Mr. Abdelghani Bardi, Head of CNDH Technology, Digital Space and Human Rights department, focused on the opportunities and challenges in the digital space and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in relation to human rights and freedoms.
The session explored several issues surrounding the digital space, including freedom of opinion and expression, the right to privacy, freedom of the media, the right to access information, equality and non-discrimination.
These workshops are part of a broader initiative designed to enhance capacities and understanding of young people regarding human rights. They also seek to raise awareness about the current challenges related to universally recognized human rights principles.
These workshops will continue until 7 November 2024, taking place every Thursday. They are part of a joint project between the CNDH and the JCI Rabat Association designed to empower young people in the field of human rights. Participants will be equipped with the necessary tools to become active and committed actors in civil society.
