In implementation of its annual action program, the Regional Human Rights Commission (CRDH) of Marrakech-Safi Region held its 12th ordinary meeting on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 10:30 a.m.
This meeting was organized in compliance with the Law No. 76-15 relating to the reorganization of the National Human Rights Council (CNDH) and its CRDHs, as well as Articles 35 and 36 of its Rules of Procedure. 
Mr. Mustafa Laarissa, CRDH President, chaired this meeting.
The agenda covered several fundamental topics, including:  CRDH’s achievements since the last regular meeting, approval of the semi-annual report for 2024, endorsement of draft thematic reports proposed by CRDH members, presentation of the CRDH’s accomplishments from 2020 to 2024, and an open discussion for sharing insights and proposals.
The CRDH was installed on October 22, 2020 and comprises three permanent committees. Permanent committee on protection of human rights, permanent committee on promotion of human rights, and permanent committee on monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of human rights in regional public policies.
