In the same context, Mr. Abdelhak Moussaddak, Coordinator of the Commission on the Follow-up of the IER Recommendations at the CNDH, noted that 8 million Dirhams had been allocated for the restoration and reconstruction of graves at the Tazmamart detention center, as well as the installation of headstones on the graves and other symbolic initiatives commemorating the memory.
In addition, Mr. Moussaddak indicated that the Follow-up Commission is currently consulting with an architect to redesign the detention space to ensure it meets the necessary standards for receiving visitors while hosting activities that generate resources to sustain its upkeep.
The Commission is continuing its actions related to technical and administrative procedures regarding the supplementary retirement files that concern several victims who have been integrated into employment or public institutions, in implementation of the social integration recommendation. Additionally, the Commission is also dealing with pending and remaining cases.
