The right to access information is one of the fundamental rights and freedoms stated in the Constitution promulgated by Dahir No. 1.11.91 of July 29, 2011, especially Article 27 thereof.

Article 12 of Law No. 31.13 on the Right to Access Information mandates the appointment of individuals to manage information requests within relevant institutions. As per this provision, Ms. Amina Bouayach, Chairperson of the National Human Rights Council (CNDH), designated Ms. Amina Salhi, Director of the Communication Directorate at the Council, to handle the reception and processing of information requests at CNDH.

In accordance with Article 13 of the same law, CNDH has undertaken all requisite measures to enforce the provisions outlined therein. It also offers tools and resources to support the designated individual in carrying out her duties effectively.

To fulfill this objective, CNDH has established an internal committee tasked with supporting the designated individual in receiving information requests and ensuring that her missions are carried out under optimal conditions.
