The Regional Human Rights Commission (CRDH) of the Fez-Meknes Region signed a partnership agreement with Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, Morocco. 
The event brought together CRDH members and staff, university deans from various Faculties, and directors from key higher Schools in the region.
This agreement was signed by Mr. Abderrahman Amrani, CRDH President, and Mr. Mustapha Ijjaali, President of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University.
It aims to establish collaborative mechanisms that promote human rights and citizenship values, and encourage dialogue, tolerance and sharing expertise and best practices in human rights.
In his statement, CRDH President, emphasized the significance of this initiative as a vital step towards institutional cooperation. He also highlighted the importance of this agreement in enhancing university research opportunities, particularly for doctoral candidates, by providing access to valuable resources.
Mr. Ijjaali shed light on pressing human rights issues addressed by this initiative, such as the rights to a decent living, work, education, health, and housing, in addition to the rights of priority groups and persons with disabilities. 
This agreement is part of a comprehensive approach to promoting and protecting human rights in the Fez-Meknes region, reflecting a shared vision for a more just and equitable society.
