The Regional Human Rights Commission (CRDH) of the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region, in partnership with the Wilaya of Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region, Ibn Zohr University in Agadir, the Regional Academy of Education and Training, and the Office of Training and Employment Promotion, will organize a study day on "The Right to Education: Achievements and Challenges", on May 31 and June 1, 2024, at 9:30 am, in Laayoune, Morocco.
This event aims to strengthen community dialogue on the right to education based on monitoring, and public policies assessment. It seeks to transform legal rules into tangible rights for citizens, ensuring that the right to education is effectively realized.
Participants will evaluate the current state of education in the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region and explore international best practices to enhance educational infrastructure and quality. The goal is to promote equitable access to education and facilitate social and economic integration for all.
The program features discussion workshops on May 31 at Al Massira Hotel, followed by a closing session on June 1 at the Higher School of Technology. Various educational, economic, social, and civil stakeholders will participate, fostering a comprehensive approach to educational improvement.
