The Regional Human Rights Commission (CRDH) in the Casablanca-Settat Region will organize a reflection workshop on ways to implement a protective strategy designed for actors working with children in street situations in Casablanca, Morocco. The event will take place on Thursday, November 22, at the CRDH’s headquarters and will bring together institutional and civil society actors.
This workshop is part of a series of sessions hosted by the CRDH’s headquarters, following its thematic report on children in street situations, presented on December 26, 2023 and which was developed with a wide range of stakeholders concerned with this issue.
Ms. Saadia Waddah, CRDH President, will launch the opening session of this event.
The workshop aims to strengthen the capacities of civil society actors and enhance effective coordination between institutional and civil society stakeholders. The ultimate goal is to adopt a rights-based approach to protecting children’s rights, particularly those in street situation, while working with territorial entities concerned with the integrated public policy for child protection.
