Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the National Human Rights Council (CNDH) organized the International Symposium entitled “Is the Universal Humanist Ideal Unfulfilled?” on 7 and 8 December 2023, at the Bibliothèque nationale du Royaume du Maroc, in Rabat, Morocco.
Within the framework of this event, the CNDH, Poste Maroc and Bank Al-Maghrib held a ceremony to present a postage stamp and a coin commemorating the 75th anniversary of the UDHR on Thursday evening, 7 December 2023, at the Bibliothèque nationale du Royaume du Maroc, and in partnership with the United Nations Information Centre.
In her statement, Ms. Amina Bouayach, CNDH Chairperson, confirmed that this ceremony reflects the convergence sought by the CNDH and its partners to implement human rights. New forms of expression have been designed to express Morocco’s commitment to human rights, contributing to international experiences in promoting human rights.
CNDH Chairperson, Mr. Amine Benjelloun Touimi, General Director of Poste Maroc, representative of Bank Al Maghrib, Mr. Hassan Rakraka, Director of Dar Es Sikha in Morocco, and Mr. Fathi Debbabi, Director of the United Nations Information Center, took part in this event.
