In response to requests from civil society NGOs, the National Human Rights Council (CNDH) held working meetings with associations on Wednesday, December 22 and Thursday, December 23, 2021.
Participating organizations included the Human Rights Center for Memory and Archives, Skhirat Victims Association, Medical Association for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Violence and Abuse, Truth and Justice Forum, and Forensic Medicine Association.
At these meetings, stakeholders addressed issues related to the missions of the associations and their alignment with the CNDH’s mandate.
The CNDH provided updates on its recent activities, highlighting key initiatives such as memory preservation programs, new initiatives to accelerate the implementation of relevant recommendations, and its annual campaign to combat violence against women and girls.
Additionally, the CNDH reaffirmed its commitment to support the annual programs of these associations and enhance their technical capacities.
