The CNDH and the Mauritanian Commission are engaged to implement every requirement of their MoU which was signed in January 2021 to address several common issues.

For his part, Mr. Ould Bouhbeni underlined that the Mauritanian National Human Rights Commission is expecting this training to be an opportunity for their staff and members to enhance their knowledge on the Moroccan human rights experiences and the CNDH mandate related to the protection and promotion of human rights.

The program of this training session will mainly focus on: “General introduction to the CNDH: evolution, structure and mandates”, “CNDH interaction with the international system for the protection of human rights”, “Human rights protection: Monitoring, visiting places of deprivation of liberty and handling complaints”, and “Ways to handle complaints through technology”.
