CNDH Publishes its Annual Report on the Situation of Human Rights in Morocco- 2023 Entitled “Laying Foundations for a National System to Protect Economic and Social Rights”

CNDH’s report highlight 332 thematic and general recommendations, including 122 recommendations issued by the three National Mechanisms and 41 structured recommendations.

The National Human Rights Council (CNDH) published its Annual Report on the Situation of Human Rights in Morocco for the year 2023 entitled “Laying Foundations for a National System to Protect Economic and Social Rights” on Tuesday 2 July 2024, at its headquarters in Rabat, Morocco.

As an independent constitutional institution to defend, protect, promote and ensure the practice of human rights and freedoms, preserve the dignity, rights and freedoms of citizens, individually and collectively, and in implementation of Articles 48 and 51 of Law 76-15 relating to its reorganization, the CNDH published its annual report following the unanimous approval at the thirteen regular session of the General Assembly of the Council held on February 17, 2024.
