Mrs. Saadia Waddah, Chairperson of the CNDH’s Regional Commission of Casablanca-Settat, holds a bachelor’s degree in law. She is a lawyer in the Bar of Casablanca (Barreau de Casablanca). She was previously a member of the Council of the same Bar between 2000 and 2003.Mrs. Waddah is a former member of the Moroccan Organization for Human Rights (OMDH) in 1992 and was also a member of the Comité de coordination du Tribunal des femmes arabes contre les violences envers les femmes (Coordinating Committee of Arabic women Court against violence towards women) in 1998.In 2000, Ms. Waddah chaired the Association marocaine de lutte contre la violence à l’égard des femmes (Moroccan Association against Violence towards Women). Then, in 2003, she became a member of the Moroccan Organization for Human Rights (OMDH).Mrs. Waddah is a founding member of the Arab Women Lawyers Forum in Bahrain. She has contributed to several books, including a book “l’enfance violée” (rape childhood) for the Centre d’écoute et d’orientation juridique (Legal Aid and Counseling Center), “Le harcèlement sexuel” (sexual harassment) for the Association marocaine de défense des droits des femmes (Moroccan Association for the Defense of Women's Rights), “La violence à l’égard des femmes : quelle protection juridique ?” (Violence against women, legal protection), and a legal guide on personal status, “Marriage-divorce” for the Association démocratique des femmes du Maroc (Democratic Association for Moroccan women).

Mr. Ali Karimi

Mr. Ali Karimi, Professor at Université Hassan II in Casablanca, and the Institut Supérieur  de l’Information et de la Communication (Higher Institute of Information and Communication) in Rabat. He was also a law consultant at the Equity and Reconciliation Commission (Moroccan Truth Commission).

Mr. Ahmed Taoufik Zainabi, Chairperson of the CNDH's Regional Commission of Beni Mellal-Khenifra, holds a PhD in Geography and Spatial Management. He is former Director of Promoting Human Rights Department at the CNDH.

Mr. Mohammed Charef, Chairperson of the CNDH’s Regional Commission of Souss-Massa

Mr. Mohammed Charef, Chairperson of the CNDH’s Regional Commission of Souss-Massa, is a specialist in geography and construction, and an expert in migration, population mobility and urban development.After graduating from the Regional Institute of Planning of Aix-en-Provence (IAR), he held a PhD in Geography of Planing from the University of Poitiers (1986) and a PhD in Science from the Free University of Brussels (2000).Mr. Charef is Professor of Geography at Université Ibn Zohr, Agadir, Director of the Regional Observatory of Migrations Spaces and Societies (ORMES).Mr. Charef is an associate member of the MIGRINTER-CNRS Poitiers team, France, and is a member of several networks and associations in the field of geography. He is also head of  the Master "Migration and Sustainable Development".He is Member of many councils and scientific bodies, including the Scientific Council on "History of migration", at the Cité nationale de l'histoire de l’immigration, Paris.Mr Charef has several publications on population and development, including: "La circulation migratoire marocaine un pont entre deux rives”,”Grands traits et impacts des transports sur la mondialisation de l'émigration marocaine”, “Un aspect méconnu des vieux émigrés-immigrés: la transnationalisation”, “Les migrations au féminin”, “Les flux migratoires et la protection des réfugiés au Maroc: défis et perspectives”, “Migrants acteurs de développement local, perspectives et limite”, “Le migrant marocain acteur d'intégration économico- socio-spatiale du Maroc au delà des frontières”, etc.He is a Visiting Professor at several foreign universities, including: Université Aix-en-Provence, Université de Metz in France, Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut, Université de Poitiers, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Free University of Brussels), University of Texas at San Antonio, etc. He is also a consultant and expert on migration issues for the United Nations Population Fund, the Council of Europe, the United Nations Population Division, the Council of the Moroccan Community Living Abroad (CCME), etc.

Mr. Taoufik Berdiji, Chairperson of the CNDH’s Regional Commission of Laayoune- Sakia El Hamra

Mr. Taoufik Berdiji, Chairperson of the CNDH’s Regional Commission of Laayoune- Sakia El Hamra, was born in Tantan, Morocco in 1970.He holds a DESA en droit public (diploma of Higher Studies in public law).He also holds a PhD in political science in 2010 on “L’élite de la ville de Laâyoune” (The local elite of the city of Laayoune). He is a member of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS) and works as an administrator in the municipality of El Marsa. He is the Vice President of the Ligue des droits humains à Laâyoune and a Secretary-General of the Réseau associatif forum Sakia Al-Hamra-Oued Eddahab pour le développement et la démocratie (associative network Sakia Al-Hamra Oued Eddahab Forum for Development and Democracy).Mr. Berdiji is the founding President of several associations including the Association Alibdaâ Assaharaoui  and the Association Tan-Tan pour le développement intégré, etc.

Mrs. Nezha Guessous is a former Professor of medical biology at the Faculty of Medicine in Casablanca, Morocco, Consultant in Biology and Human Rights, and a member of the Royal Advisory Commission to reform the Family Code.

Mr. Mustapha Raïssouni

Born in 1939 in Tétouan, Morocco.Mr. Mustapha Raïssouni, lawyer, has been member of the Advisory Council on Human Rights (CCDH) since 1990. He was also member of the Higher Council for Culture (CSC).Mr. Raïssouni, holder of a BA in law (1963), was elected President of the Bar of Tangier from 1977 to 1980. After having been its Secretary-General from 1985 to 1997, he was appointed President of the Association des Barreaux du Maroc (Association of the Bars of Morocco) from 1997 to 2000.Mr. Raïssouni headed also the Association de Soutien aux Établissements Universitaires (Association for supporting university institutions). He was the President of Abdellah Guennoun Foundation for Culture, Scientific Research, the Association du Développement de la province de Tanger (Association of developing the province of Tangier) and the Association Dar AL Hanae pour les enfants orphelins handicapés (association for handicapped orphan children).Mr. Raïssouni was former member of the Independent Arbitration Commission and member of the group of experts of the Equity and Reconciliation Commission (IER).He published several studies in specialized magazines.
