Mr. Abdelaziz Ait Hammou appointed new CDIFDH Director

Mr. Abdelaziz Ait Hammou has been recently appointed Director of the Center of Documentation, Information and Training in the field of Human Rights (CDIFDH), succeeding Mr. Hamid El Kam. The appointment ceremony took place on September 15th, 2010.

Born in Salé, Mr. Ait Hamou carried out his studies in Leon and Paris, option: social sciences. He has a postgraduate diploma in sociology and a DEA Diploma (Diploma of Profound Studies) in anthropology and political sociology.

He worked as a researcher in the National Institute of Halieutic Research (INRH), and as a consultant to national and international organizations in the areas of rural development and fishery socio-economics.

He taught at the School of Higher Studies in Social Sciences (Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales) in Paris as a visiting professor (2004). He worked as a research associate in the same institution in 2005.

Mr. Ait Hammou authored many investigation and analysis reports and some published articles.
